Built for Mac users, SmartDay is a scheduler app that makes interacting with the default Mac calendar app fun and quite productive. The app sits in your computer’s menu bar and lets you quickly access your reminders and calendars from there.

SmartDay integrates tasks, calendar, projects, and notes into one application. Primarily made for the Mac, the app is available for iOS too. There is also browser support so that you could access the latest information anytime, anywhere. However, you must log in to your SmartDay account to access information via a web browser. This easy-to-use tool lets you access existing tasks and calendars from the respective applications on your Mac OS X, including Google Calendars. You may instantly append notes, tasks, and new events as well.

SmartDay comes with the SmartTime feature that helps you make time for getting things done. The ‘auto schedule’ feature directly places tasks into your calendar timeline to indicate when they could be done. You may directly drag a particular task into the calendar in order to set a particular time. Some of the other features worth mentioning are adding notes to a scheduled meeting in the calendar, including checklists in the notes, organizing tasks and events into projects, automating task scheduling, and filters and advanced search. The app also facilitates project sharing and task delegation through SmartDay online.
